far far away land

is a fairytale that can never come true in the reality world..

but somehow my fantasies can be made real for tat few hrs n for future relishing..

few favourites places in the far far away land - USS in sentosa... considering sentosa is a island by itself (LAND, u c..)

found myself waking up to fantasy of far far away land where Princess Fiona resides.. (okie, actually im not v sure if she reali resides there or izzit just my fantasy.. i googled and i cant find anything.. so juz bear wif mi n pretend tat she reali resides there okie.. its juz a fantasy anyway..)

n imagine myself a princess in the sweltering hot sun.. (this is when u wish sg reali reali has four seasons to make e fantasy more real...)

then found myself along the broadway street with loads n loads of broadway shows...

so there i was watching a broadway in a theatre.. *GASPS* MONSTER ROCK! (is there gg to be a monster popping out?? *acts bimbo n hid in e prince charming's arms*)

when i came out, BEHOLD! there i was on  Fifth Avenue street... What heaven hav I found?? a shopping paradise...

Empire State Department Store?! Is this real or wat?

what am i waiting for?? Let's GO!

and thats not all.. there's even an US style building in my fantasy... tats absolutely nice! had the sudden urge to climb up those stairs and for the fleeting moment, act like im running away fr some conspiracy.. (*shrugs* y not? anything can happen in fantasy anyway..)

came to i-dunno-wat-this-is place... so bye..

starting to get a little bored walking on the streets..

but HEY, bumped into a little yellow signature american cabby..

and it took us to Charlie Chaplin! what a watse.. i should have placed my feet exactly like his...

and even took a pic with the OH-I-SO-HATE-CAT cat... yes, i absolutely hates cats.. never in my dream would i expect a photo with the disgusting creature on earth.. but i still did.. hai...

still have carols to listen to...

den bumped into madagascar troupe!

and had the third death threatening ride i have put myself through... coming out groggy and a sprained neck...

Changi V Hotel

came a tad late... i was busy wif a lot of things.. but seriously i dunno exactly what hav i been so busy with so much so that this post is delayed to 2011..

it was an impromptu decision to celebrate xmas wif a bunch of frens in a hotel...
in my memory, i dun recall there's any time i have ever celebrate a festival before in a hotel..
i wld say this is my first time having an xmas celebration in hotel as far as i can remember..

before i bore u with all e details, photo time now!

presents that teacher A took effort into preparing for us... she even prepared a riddle for us to guess before opening the present..

dinner was a little torturing for me.. when i can see all e seafood but can eat non of them for e time being..

it was also during such a time then i realised that seafood is such an essential for most cuisine... its unbelievable.. go hav some tot n tink wat food doesnt reali come wif seafood.. u will find out prob 90% of the dishes especially chinese is made up of seafood...

the pandan chicken which i find it as normal.. but its great tat i dun hav 2 lift a finger 2 open up the leaf.. HAHA..

tried a new game.. muz b v puzzling rite.. obviously its monopoly...

now den noe e ways of playing monopoly is so vast..

tis is monopoly city... n was quite confused when shifu E was trying to teach us.. u reali need to get hands on before u can fully understand e game..



actually wanted to change to another game... then chaos broke when midnight struck.. (rhymes!)

the guys bought e snow and ribbon stuff.. they intend to use them e moment midnight strikes..

e innocent mi had no idea wat "evil" plans they were harbouring...

we were still preparing for the new card game when suddenly one fren shouted, "merry xmas!" (or sth to tat extent, it was pretty chaotic aft tat.. i cldnt rem..).. den it took e slow-witted innocent mi to realise wat is gg to happen...

e GUYS HAD ARMED THEMSELVES with the snow and ribbon can... wts... i din even had any chance to arm myself..

so i had to scramble away FAST.. first tot was to run to the toilet.. then found tat toilet door is locked!!

i had e mili second to register who is missing fr e room.. luckily the guys also realised hu is missing fr the room.. so all ran to the toilet door and tried their might to pick the lock open the door...

tats how e above pic came about.. and all hell broke loose.. becos of the ONE person hu hid in e toilet...

this is wat happened when he hid in the toilet and eventually he still had to open the toilet door.. HA HA HA!

the aftermath



resorted to playing dice game to finish e liquor... our own improvised "大小" game..

we played another monopoly game (yes monopoly again..) but its a diff one once again... called e monopoly deal.. was quite fun actually... so fun tat teacher A went to bought a deck herself..

im beginning to like staying in hotels :)

New Year Eve - Swing + Jun's hse

new year eve became one of the rare times i fell seriously drunk in the year of 2010..

when there's a bunch of very mischievous frens gathering together, foresee the daunting task of drunkardness..


gear up for the nite...
theme was bling bling set by xuan n shi..

was in a total panic attack a few days before with no idea how to gear up for new yr eve..

after some rummaging, i thank the 神 above for letting me find this very bling scarf..

so my bling theme is set..

BF has e headachest headache when tis bling theme was set..

he doesnt believe that e guys in e grp wld b able to find any bling thing to gear for the nite..

but oh my, he was very wrong..

i dunno how on earth did we forget 2 take a pic of e bling that each n every one was wearing but we reali forgot.. given tat there r so many photographers in tis grp..

back to my pt is E was wearing a gold necklace.. and R had on a studdy bling belt..

see the effort e guys had put in for this bling bling theme??

i wld say left most of e gers speechless with his "idea"

YES to swing restaurant again...

took two swings becos of e no of ppl we had..

had some minor hiccups when we reached the restaurant.. the restaurant crew den realised they din hav my booking.. i nearly had another panic attack in less than a wk.. and on e verge of screaming at them already if they actually screwed up my reservation..

i reserved e swing seats more than 2 weeks back!

they accepted another booking made by others, conveniently forgetting abt my reservation..

aft serious searching through their reservation book, bf's sharp eyes caught my reservation in the book.. saviour!

so e restaurant lady has no choice but to make sure we hav our swing seats..

lucky for her, she provided quite a pleasant service throughout the nite.. throwing in extra things inside for the new year eve's package.. so a little thumbs up for tis restaurant..

but a sidenote: if u r planning a surprise, pls pls make sure u liased properly wif e lady and all e restaurant staff beforehand.. n make sure ur instructions r clear.. becos she has bungled on surprises (unknowingly i wld say..) planned by us on the two occasions..

then headed to jun's hse where jun & E have so kindly provided to us for so many occasions..

present exchanging time!!

had a hilarious time.. becos the organiser (aka me!) forgot to prepare name tags n tag it on the present for guessing purpose... yes, go ahead with ur -_-

when we finally came up wif an idea on how to exchange those presents, e clue tat i wrote 2 rain nearly had her wanting to hurl sth at mi..

i wrote "santa claus wrapping - E***"

she took a look at my clue n e table den at me, giving me e incredulous look... the entire table was filled wif santa claus wrapping paper.. WAHAHAHA.. joke of the nite by me...

i forgot 2 include the word "blue"

u noe wat was passing in my mind when i wrote tat clue?? i tot, "uhmm, santa claus wrapping paper, v obvious is mine..." cos i was onli looking at my wrapped present n no one else's..

i din realise its XMAS exchange so naturally many ppl wld use SANTA CLAUS wrapping paper..

my xmas cum bday pressie from xuan :)

she gave mi a little scare e other day when she asked if i was still into leopard prints..

i had a suspicious moment that she is gg 2 give mi a leopard print TOP or cardigan... so e rest of e day was spent thinking if i wld dare 2 wear any leopard print top/cardigan or not...

yes, though im into leopard print stuff, i still have not gathered enough courage to display myself in LEOPARD prints at e moment in sg.. i tink i am not TAT daring yet and bf will never go out wif mi dressed like tat...

very very lucky turned out to be a scarf... will come in very hardy for e trip.. thx babe!

bday cakes for mi n jer!

this is e surprise tat e lady bungled on.. she came running towards ME when we had footed or were footing e bill and asked "how about ur cakes?? you wan it served now???"

i was dumbfounded for the moment.. number 1, i din noe there were any cakes to begin with.. number 2 i wasnt even supposed 2 know that there was CAKE!

den i caught e same dumbfounded look in xuan's n rain's face momentarily of which they tried to hide it under a nonchalant face.. i guess everyone was equally caught by surprise tat e lady leaked out the secret..

two bday gers with one kena tekan by drinks ltr.. no prize for any gd guess becos all of us NOE who was e one who got drunk...

jer thankfully escaped becos new yr eve countdown is not her actual day -_-

not likely to repeat.. so u can prelude my slightly drunken look... okie la, let u laugh at my "seh" look la..

i admit i am V BAD at my seven times table when im half drunk... my brain seems to stop functioning totally when e alcohol is churning in my mind..

we drank two red, one very nice sparkling white and an entire full bottle of vodka mango...

happy 2011!

OMG!! its 2011 now!

i have grown yet older by another year once again :(((((((

its true that women reali age faster.. becos even growing old by one year also vexes us out...

another year passed... i realised a list of very random things...

1. i hav kind of grown out fr the clubbing scene... i do not fancy clubbing as much as i did last time... perhaps its onli e time spent with the gers in the club tat excites mi now? the loud music n incessant drinking tires mi out eventually...

2. i reali do like to travel... i like to travel around the world while i still hav the ability... i like to be able to see the sights with my own eyes instead of through other ppl's eyes.. ever since the ordeal of facing health anxiety, it made mi treasure e fact tat i can still walk around in one piece is a blessing.. so within my own means, i will try...
travelling with ger frens is the next best thing to take place.. those memories in taiwan wif e gers r precious...

3. taking better care of myself is important... eg: like my skin! instead of tinking "let nature take its own course" naively... if nature continues to take its own course, the railway lines is going to create a train contour on my entire face very soon... sometimes things just have to be taken into human's hands..

4. sometimes e more i wish for sth 2 happen, e more it wldnt.. e harder i tried to forget it, e harder i cant make myself forget...

5. it hasnt been an entirely smooth year.. a lot of ups and downs along e way.. which made me at some moment in time reali feel like throwing everything aside and disappear for a while... i never have the courage to do so... a lot of things which i told myself not to be so 执著about, but once again its hard...

6. quite a number of cases where i feel tat im lacking in a lot of things...

7. very lacking in discipline to exercise such tat my entire of gym membership is wasted.. heartache over the loss of money.. vowed not to sign up for anymore gym membership :/

8. im onli motivated when there r ppl or things motivating mi.. otherwise i will let myself slack away...

9. this whole yr has flew past without mi accomplishing many things... in fact, i can recall nothing..

10. had the worst hair ordeal for this yr by doing a permanent perm on impulse.. end result was my long hair got frizzed up for nth... n got reali dry n ugly... even e colour faded to a horrid yellow which more than 10 ppl at least had point blank told mi my hair colour is v ugly.. thank you v much n i noe its v ugly.. im juz trying to endure until v close 2 my trip den i will colour it.. no pt colouring it now n let e colour grow out by e time i go on my trip rite..
on a happier note, i went to "correct" it by using rebonding as my remedy... it is so far a likeable remedy...

11. last but not least i managed to actually lost mayb 4kgs (probably mostly water retention) aft e op.. n put it back on as fast as two wks :(( i cant accomplish the habit of eating healthy food...

okie, my list of randomness self-reflection is somewhat done... goodbye to 2010 which has neither made mi a person any better nor any lesser, i reckon...

i hope 2011 can reali b a happy happy year ahead... happiness is actually a v simple thing.. but too bad i am never simple to begin with...
